  2. 1/4 cup rajma (kidney beans)
  3. 1/4 cup Chana dal
  4. 3 onions
  5. 3 tomatoes
  6. 8 garlic cloves
  7. 1 inch ginger
  8. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  10. 1 tsp red Chilli powder
  11. 1 tsp dhanya jeera powder
  12. 1 tsp cumin powder
  13. 1/2 cup fresh milk cream
  14. 1 spoon chopped coriander
  15. 1 tsp garam masala
  16. 1 spoon Amul butter 🧈
  17. 2 spoons oil & 2 spoon ghee
  18. as per taste Salt

Steps to make to make Dal makhani

  1. Take dal & rajma as mentioned and Soak overnight by adding hot water & 1/2 tsp cooking soda
    Take Chana dal in a separate bowl and soak it for three to four hours. So you can soak dal early in the morning
  2. Now wash dal properly & add Chana dal & add salt as per taste & add one spoon of ghee in it
    When we add ghee to the dal mix it will boil very easily & become soft
  3. Now close the lid of cooker & put the flame at low & allow 7 whistles
    Then after cooling open the cooker you will see that both dal & rajma has become soft
  4. Cut onions & tomatoes into a big pieces & take ginger & garlic & grind it to a fine paste & take fresh cream & chop coriander.
  5. Take a pan to add ghee & oil & when it is hot add cumin seeds then add onion & ginger garlic paste & when onions change it color add tomato paste & stir it properly.
  6. Now take all spices in plate & after tomato losses oil from corners add all spices and stir it properly & Then add coriander & again stir for two minutes.
  7. Now add boiled dal in it & stir it & Then add fresh cream & Then add Amul butter to it
    Then add one to two cups of water as you need Then close the lid & remain it on low flame for 20 to 25 min.
  8. Now after 25 minutes your Dal makhani is ready to serve
    I have served with paratha, jeera rice & onion salad.
